I decided to finally eat without meat in my diet.

wow, the gf's friend is going to buy "something" to apparently "make" ? the stuff....
I have yet to read the booklet... I will later tonight... I noticed when I was skimming thru it, it says that in the olden days of the plague - rich people drank out of silver, and thats why they didnt get sick.... (boom07) heh...

I'll have to look into it more.... sounds like it helped you... do you actually ingest silver ?

The machine he used was a small jar, with 3 rods on the lid, with power and stuff. Was $300 or so. He told me you get what you pay for, so make sure she gets the right machine.

Good for you, hope your new diet works out well.

Soy milk is awesome.
Edamame rocks
Terra chips are the bomb(so many different ones and all are awesome, particularly taro root and sweet potato)
Sushi is the s***
Hummus is good. My mother makes her own, always has a couple jars on hand. Good on hard boiled eggs, or almost anything really

Is yogurt part of your diet at all? Would that contain the same hormones and such as milk?

Yeah be careful about getting proper nutrition, my sister has been a vegetarian for years, but started to develop a goiter a while back from an iodine deficiency. (boom01)

I will have no problem with the iodine as I will continue to eat seafood.

I make my own hummus. Hummus is great and has a lot of good fat.

my diet:
- performance vitamin supplements
- lots of salad yumm with light dressings only (non-fat, low sodium)
- lots of veggies (usually put in the salad)
- lots of chicken or fish
- really lean beef if i feel like eating beef
- light on the rice, pasta, other carbs
- absolutely no pork
- raisin bran or other bran cereals with light soya milk
- lots of fruit (mainly apples, oranges, strawberries, pineapples)
- add to this about 3-4 days of working out a week.

i only started doing this at the beginning of September. i'm about 6'0" and 167.... So in 2 months, i've lost about 12lbs and lost about 4% of my body fat. hopefully if i keep this up, i'll have lost more body fat and build up my muscle tone.

That is pretty lean, unless you are new to working out and don't have a ton of muscle yet.

Keep it up. That looks like a really solid diet. I don't believe in counting calories (you should see some of the anal lists on bodybuilding.com when it comes to nutrition).

As far as mine goes, I feel fine today. I find that I am not as hungry as I usually am. My energy seems normal as well.

nice. are you looking to bulk up or go slim?

Both I think. The more I read that, the more he sounds like a beginner.

Being a beginner, it IS possible to gain muscle and lose fat. Take advantage of that ChopStickHero.

I am trying to lean out and keep what I have in muscle, as much as possible.
