Hwy 9 Fun Run!

So, like, wanna create like a group, like a website and s*** that like organizes and brings together all Norcal Touge drivers who to drive also. We could call it like Norcal Touge. The website would be norcaltouge.com That would roxor.

Um I just wanted to bring this thread to your attention just because I know you guys would understand where I'm coming from since we've had discussions about this before.

I am seriously losing respect for DGM more and more. You know I was gonna write some snide little comment on what a stupid product this is but when I was just done I deleted it because I knew I would get into all sorts of silly s*** with it. I mean it seems all there products are just some stupid thing to cover what it should have replaced. How can I make this point more clear let me count the ways.
CF Dash Overlays
CF "Widebody" Kit
CF Rear Skirt

And now this

(ricer) is all I have to say

Are you making fun of my DG CF dash kit? :p

I'll kill you.

just kidding

I actually wouldn't have bought it if the stereo shop wasn't picking up part of the tab for scratching my center console. I think it's a nice touch and I get lots of compliments on it.

20. melicha8 <--- haha I see you're in the raffle for the free DGM CF radio pieces(sssh)

haha but really.. I agree.. DGM is getting out of hand.. those "widebody" things are already pretty horrible..

That being said, I'm hoping to get a DGM CF Lip from a MOCC member for cheap haha, so as far as I'm concerned DGM ROCKS!

is that the part you need natey?

I pretty much have it figured out, but I'm missing a few nuts, bolts and brackets. Does anyone have the thing that the IAT used to be attached to? It looks kind of like an ant trap...It's the brass colored "tongue" about 2.5-3 inches long that holds the IAT onto the stock intake. I guess I misplaced mine.
Also, the two bolts that hold the MAF onto the stock intake... they're two short(maybe 1/2 inch?), brass colored bolts, about 10mm. If I can get my hands on these couple of little items (come to think of it, I can probably find the bolts at Orchard Supply) I'm in business.(strike)

:wtf: (p5silver) :wtf:

Natey,

if you need pictures of how the stock intake is, I can snap you a few...

This s*** really sucks. Hopefully your dealer won't b**** too much...

Stock. It only took me about 5 hours to swap the valve cover and put the stock intake back together. (braindead

Bahahaha... That's the third car that oil cap has been on. First mine, then Natey's now, Ya! It's a nice piece ain't it?

I had the itch last night and had to scratch. Getting all ready for rev-it-up, I went out for a little HWY 128 action at around 11:00 and didn't get home till 2:00.

Just a couple things I noticed when I was out there. You tend to get in a lot more trouble with this car when braking than when not. It seems like my understeer got worse under brakeing than when I just took a corner at speed.

Also a little description of 128 compared to HWY 9 and 237. It's a little of each. There will be sections of 128 much like 237 where it's just twisty as hell and you have to have your concentration and then between those sections there were long windy stretches of road that you can blast through at 60-70 miles an hour. An all around great ride on totally smooth pavement just like HWY 9, I mean all of it just perfect. It felt much like a drift course.
The first part took me out from davis through winters onto 128. There are long sweeping turns and some wide hairpins where you can test the limits of grip on the tires I really liked it. In the picture of the map just ignore the napa part I just used 128 near winters

Here is the second part of the ride. I had never been on this part before and was my main reason for going out. I was thuroughly impressed

This was the third part. A lot of low speed turns separated by long high speed stretches

I got lost in vacaville. I drove over the freeway and didn't even know it(hand).

I almost hit a boulder in the middle of the road. It was about 100 lbs and on my way back when I moved it to the side of the road it took about five minutes
