Hwy 9 Fun Run!

I thought that picture was mildly familiar... except for the dude that has been photoshopped in ha ha

Hey Natey, I got my brass fittings for my boost gauge from Santa Cruz Auto Parts on Soquel Ave. (across the street from the Fosters Freeze, just before Volks Cafe). It consists of one 3-port brass block and three, 1/8-inch nipples, and some teflon tape. Don't loose the ferrules for the ends of the teflon lines or you'll be heading back to the store for replacements. I wish I was home so I could lend a hand......
Make sure you tee it into someplace after the Throttlebody to get an accurate reading.

w00t! 10 more days in Austria!!!!

Maybe make a cruise up 101 to like eureka one night ill be in petaluma, its on the way North! I actually do miss it out there a lil bit. haha

Sup, Justin! (hi) It must be pretty damn cold in Maryland rightnow. BRRRRR!

Thanks, Terry. I'm gonna go hit up SC auto today, and the teflon tape trick is a good one. I'm thinking that you mean wrap the vinyl tube(from the gauge) until it's 1/8", then my coupler will fit. (thumb)

My plan is to wait until someone from the group buy sells their car. I figure it'll be about a month until I have all the GT Spec crap for about 200 bucks. :D

I used the teflon tape for the threads on the nipples (three of them) that screw into the 3-port block (everything is brass material).

The little brass swage lock fittings on the ends of your line (to and from the gauge) are compression fittings and don't need any teflon tape.

Yeah, I teflon taped all the connections at the gauge and the ferrules are in place correctly. My problem is that I can't find a connector that goes from the 3-way T to the vinyl tube that comes out of the gauge.
My new theory is to wrap the vinyl tube in teflon tape until it fits into a 1/8-1/8" connector. Y'know, build it up a little bit. (woowoo)

LOLOLOLOLOL, are you serious?

"Everyone, lets meet up at the intersection of highway 9 and highway 35 @ 12am December 21'st. There will be lots of fun and action going on. No donuts and no racing, this will just be a "slow cruise" through the mountains."

Jared, since you are the hockey guru of this thread, when and why did they stop playing for this season? I just found out this morning? Are you really the only person who watches it?

This season never got started because spoiled millionaires can't get along. The owners locked out the players on Septemeber 15th when the Colelctive Barganing Agreement expired. Just yesterday they had their first negotiations in 3 months. Basically, ownership wants a salary cap to stop the bleeding (there are several clubs losing money) and the players won't go for it.

If this most recent negotiation session results in anything we'll have hockey in mid/late January, if not, I fear the season will be cancelled. Sad days for me the 10 other people in the United States that care.

I was thinking about mentioning MOCC, seeing as the people on this thread pretty much make up the norcal chapter.
