Hwy 9 Fun Run!

hey jared - when would you need this by? I'm still going over my finances and I need to see how much I have left for the year.
Same here, but this is the order I would want them:
-Definate yes on the upper front strut bar
-Yes on the front lower if I get a good deal
-Possibility on the rear package depending on price, and if it actually improves handling.
It all depends in timing and what deals we can get though.

Jared thanks so much. Guys you know I'm down your you locals cause you're my boyzzzz. So i'll take care of this no problem. And it will all ship here so that will be cheaper. I think this would serve as a good way for us to test and provide feedback to everyone too. I been eyeing their stuff and have spoken to them before about the product lines. Give jared the list and i'll see what i can do. They're probably already blowing the stuff out but it should still be cheaper on shipping.

Thanks, Rishie

Looks like I'll be making another trip to the bay area:) Maybe we can have an install party somewhere so I don't have to just turn around and come home....

Thanks for posting up Rishie. As far as timing goes there really isn't a deadline but I would like to do this sooner rather than later if we can do it.

It's good stuff, I love the pieces that I have in my car.

I dont believe that the Rally-X schools teach you how to read and write pace notes, but how to compete and drive in a rally-x setting which is like auto-x, but on dirt. This isnt a _REAL_ TSD rally school.

I know what you're saying, they are just going to teach the basics of Rallying, as noted on Page 2 of the entry form. I think one day is NOT enough time to learn to read pace notes and learn the rules and regs.
I haven't talked to the organizers (Sherry Grantz, Skylar Stein, Michel Hoche) since the July Rallyx so the fine details have slipped my mind.

They talked about moving the course from the normal spot for rallyx, over to the other field that has more room for maneuvering. I remember during the driver's meeting, that there will be some rally driver's there to instruct and some rally codrivers there to teach the student codrivers. I don't know how well my wife will do with the codriving, as she gets pretty carsick if she is reading a magazine. Or rather, I don't know how well I'll do, as my car loves to break down with a little panache.

If you are going, send me a PM. If the Mrs and I go, we'll probably head up Friday night after work and stay at a friends house and come back Sunday after the rallyx. Will get drinks, yes?

Jared you should stop spending your money on parts and start blowing it on autocross events. Fast cars are driven by fast drivers, it's the biggest mod you can do to a car

Um I think we took 16 east to the town of arnold through sutters mill. We then took hwy 4 north and then went to mono lake. We finished in S. Lake Tahoe and drove home from there

lol, yeah, thats the idea. I am pretty much done with the car. One more trip to SPD racing to have the exhaust manifold replaced and button up a few things, take care of my oil leak, etc... and I am done modding the car. Then it will be ready for some autocross events, can't wait. Still majorly bummed about missing laguna seca.

Then we pull in to the country club, they kept driving. We waited a while(15 minutes?) and the cops again, pull up right as we are all leaving.
We finally all get back to the gas station, the officers pull up. Dom walks up to them and starts chatting. They ask whats going on, if we are up here to race, how long we've been doing the meets, are any of these 'race cars' are modified.

Dom sais no, we just like driving, been doin this for a couple weeks, only mods are rims and tires. I tossed in, "these aren't race cars, they are sports cars with AWD".
So they said "be careful, there are more of us out there watching".

No lights or anything, they were very, very nice.
Then seconds after they leave, some AMC revs and burns out at the stop sign heading north on 9.

No, there was a cop down in Boulder Creek that was hanging out at the bottom of 236 and 9, and there was a pack of about 12 cars out that night just chillin and then the cops were like omgwtfbbq and this white kid w/ a beamer talked to the cops and the cops were like, whatever, stupid kids, lolol. This means that we just need to stick to the upper section of 236 and just be a bit more careful cause they are starting to become aware of what is going on. Also, it should already be a known and stated fact, but; speeding + residential = trouble.

Also, if a cop is encountered on the touge at night I am gonna make a mad-dash out of there unless they pull some crazy hardcore roadblock.

There was some pork on his way up 35 near the 35/black rd, I wonder if he was stoked on the cloud of tire smoke I left trying to not rear-end Natey

O well, he didn't care and went on his merry way.

Either that or he just never caught up.
