Hwy 9 Fun Run!

Nate looks like you can take a direct route:

880N---->580E---->205N---->5N

I think it's around 75 miles so about the same as me

wow andrew sounds like you had a blast at the scca. I'll have to try and make it
out then next time around.

natey - sorry to hear that HIN was a bad ordeal. I hate it when these events don't
get their s*** together.

yea, I forgot about it for a while, and then my g/f mom bought a few cases of it so I remebered why I loved it so much. It's caffeinated orange soda, which just so happens to be my 2 favorite elements of a soda. And I really hope they keep it around longer this time. It kinda reminds me of orange jolt.

Damn, anybody wanna hit up some eastbay roads next weekend? I have had a couple invites from people over in the East Bay so I figured we could form a group and head out.

I would love to go tonight, but I have this stupid paper due tomorrow so unfortunately I cant make it.

I have a question and hopefully you guys can answer me. What is the best ECU out there for our MP5's ?

Natey, I would love to see somebody bring out a 914 and just **** s*** UP on the touge. They are rare and unthought of. Bring mountain supremacy back to the european cars.

you guys want to meet up at q-cup this wednesday? steve said he's going to invite a bunch of other clubs over. so how bout it?

I think a 914 with a 6 cyl is quite rare to find in good condition and probably out of Nate's budget. The four cylinders are common, cheap, and easy to work on. Basically they are porshe's with volkswagon engines in them. They aren't all that powerfull but can be made into total beasts with not all that much money. When I build my porsche 550 spyder kit car I will be building the same engine.

Nate if you do plan to go with this I can help you out a lot. I've read up a lot on this and own a book or two on this very same engine. My friend built an engine seeing around 200 hp at the wheels for about 3k. I think he used a stroker kit to boost disp. up to about 2150cc and used some street eliminator heads which flow really well. If you want to borrow the book to see what you are getting into gimme a call or something.

I know you guys are Raggae fans so you really aught to add this to your favorites list: http://www.kdvs.org/

This is our local college radio station here in davis. The site has streaming audio and the reason I want you guys to listen to it is because it has some of the best Raggae I've ever heard. On sundays from like 10am-3pm they have two really great radio programs that play only Raggae and Island Music. The guys are really knowledgable about the s*** and have really good taste. They play all decades of music.
