HVAC Removal Help

Ok so I know how to get the the dash center panel out, but I can't dissconnect the havac control so I can remove the whole center unit. Please help

there are two wires coming from the unit, one goes under the drivers side of the dash, the other is only seen once the glovebox is out. once those are both removed, the entire unit can pop out.

pull hard... VERY HARD, actaully the carbon fiber look alike part just pops off, the heat and vent controls are hooked up by a wire that is under the dash, you just pop it off
then you pull out a little more and unscrew the back with a short philps screw driver
