don't hate I just have a thing for those shifters as I have a rediculously large hand and those shifters fit my hand better than a small knob so I can throw the shifter around more accurately. Any idea what the thread is on the ms3 shifter knob and anybody know if I can mount a hurst t-bar shift knob on that sucker?
if you dont know what they are here's a link http://store.summitracing.com/partd...891681+4294906189+4294862464+115&autoview=sku
includes these adapters
Includes 12mm x 1.50mm, 10mm x 1.50 mm, 8mm x 1.25mm, and 7mm x 1.0mm thread adapters.
thank you

I don't know the thread size or pitch, but if you can find Yosemite Sam mudflaps or rear window louvers for the MS3 I'll be a happier man.

That handle lends itself to an automatic, not manual pattern. Hurst did have a similar manual handle but it was like a lazy "S" shape oriented fore-aft.

Surely Momo or somebody makes a shifter to fit your giant hands that doesn't look like it belongs in a 71 Chevelle.

Seems like one of those classic round (8-ball type)shift knobs would be a better fit for someone with big hands. I don't know if you'd like that t-shape in a manual.

Huh???

You are never supposed to grip the shift knob so the size of your hands really don't matter.

Oh wait, you said M S 3 I thught you said I ROC Zee (they rhyme so I guess thats why I was confused...)

^^I'll vouch for that as well. I've tried every which way and fastest shifts are with the push-and-pull technique using the palm and fingers.

Some people just like to grab and manhandle their knobs.(evil)
