Hurricane Ike ownz Texas

As Marc already announced, the Banana is officially claimed as a total loss as of 9/17/08. Ive been striping the car of all the aftermarket mods since tuesday, and Geico pulled up in a flat bed tow truck this afternoon and hauled her away 
<3 I was able to remove everything except the Jet Hot'd 626 Manifold, and AWR mounts from the engine bay......other than the transmission mods and SS Shifter. The tow truck pulled up to my house before i could remove those last few items. They actually helped me put on the stock hood and trunk before they towed it off cause i was still putting it back to stock, lol.
Anywayz, the house made it out pretty well with only some slight water damage to the front carpet that seeped through the front door. Also my newly built wood fence i put up around the house was knocked down, damn rookie contractors
Unfortunately most of the community wasnt so lucky, they all got 3-4 ft. of water inside there homes. If that didnt do it for them, it was the trees collapsing on there houses We wont have power for weeks since the area was one of the hardest hit along with Seabrook and Kemah.
Look out for parts sale thread in the next couple days, i was able to salvage just about everything. Just gonna get em cleaned up with pics and ready to ship.

Im sure it would have ran just fine, but i just cut the wires of the SS FTC off the factory ECU.....so it wont run until those wires are soldered back in place. They said i could buy it back for $2k, but i declined. The water that flooded the area was from the gulf, so it was salt water....the frame and bolts under the car already had rust and salt was everywhere.

Well if things couldnt get any worse, i just got back from the hospital this morning. My buddy and I finished grabbing some wings at BW3's and was headed home last night in my wifes car. We reached a 3-way stop intersection (the lights were out due to Ike), as i procede to make my left turn after i reached my stop. A van comes plowing through the intersection with no intent to stop and T-boned the f*ck outta me. I made it out with a bruised side, and my buddy made it out ok with a headache. I now have no vehicles to use, lol. I need to go car shopping for 2 vehicles after all this mess is taken care of

Damn Citizen this really sucks ass man. My Condolences about your Mazda from this side of the World ( SPAIN ) Glad to hear you and your family are Ok, How sad is to see a brother from another mother looses what we all love in this Mazda Community. our Damn Mazda's.. I hope you can get something like or better than what you had.. what happened to your sick ass rims ?

No sir, nothing to joke about. Its crazy dude, wondering ive done to deserve all this s***. But i know it will get better, i have alot of family helping with whatever we need to get back on our feet.

No sir, no body parts were removed from the vehicle. Just my aftermarket goodies were replaced with oem parts, before the insurance took the car.
