HP Question

I am just curious how much HP and Torque all of you protege owners have gotten on your vehicle. I have a 2000 ES and I was just curious at how much you think it would handle and how much you guys have gotten to.

tons of threads on this honestly, best to do a search in the future.

that said, it really depends on what route you take and how much money you spend. going forced induction (turbo) will always net you more power in the long run. there is a point where the stock engine is going to snap and you'll have to step up to built engine. it really depends on what kind of money you want to spend and if you prefer an "all motor" setup VS a turbo setup.

n/a dont expect any dynos with hp for 140 ....honestly...ever...if you go turbo...up to 250 on stock internals...forged it's unknown yet..keeps getting higher...there is a dyno ladder for n/a and forced induction...check those out

^There's a guy up in Toronto (now moving to Calgary) who had a fully built/balanced MP3 engine running ~150whp with a full exhaust and some tuning...extreme modding for high RPM and whatnot can reach near 200whp for a LOT of money...
But as stated above, just do a search and you'll get better results
