How/What to data log and how to read it.

So I just got a DashHawk and I have no idea what to log and what/how to read it and how to differentiate what would be a good reading and what would be a bad reading.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

i log RPM with Boost, Actual AFR, Fuel Pressure, Knock Retard. do some search with the safe parameters...

So I was logging my Boost PSI, but I don't exactly know how to read it. It peaks when I WOT it in 6th at around 70mph and then tapers down to 12 and holds until I let off.

In 1st and 2nd it doesn't peak any higher than 11-12psi.
In 3rd and 4th, it peaks around 14psi but QUICKLY dies back down, even when I continue to WOT.


Am I not driving correctly to get the correct logs or am I having turbo/boost problems?

I have a Turbosmart BPV, which probably needs some tuning.

Sounds like the stock tune to me, you need a tuning device or boost controller if you want more boost.
