I really wanna remove the rear wiper instead of replacing the blade, kind of looks ugly anyways. Is there a plug I can buy from Mazda to cover up where the arm goes? Maybe there is a DIY? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Get the Mazda 6 wagon rear wiper. Much cleaner looking & you won't be cleaning the rear window every other day by hand to be able to see out of it. There's a how-to with the part numbers. About 35.00 from onlinemazdaparts dot com.
Very easy to do...take off the cover on the inside of the hatch...I think there are like 2 or 3 bolts...takes about 5 minutes...install Integra Wiper delete plug...
Damn, I like that, it looks really clean without the wiper. I think, though I will get a 6 rear wiper for my car. The back window does get dirty quickly and it's nice to be able to see out of it and I don't want to have a switch that doesn't do anything.
Thanks...It is one of those things that if you don't like it, it takes like 5 minutes to put the thing back on...not to mention you can re-sell the plug for pretty much what you pay since not to many people know where to get it from...
Could a similar plug also be sourced from Home Depot or other hardware store?
Just a thought, seeing as people can make a front lip using parts from HD, I don't see why not.
probably, but i dont think it would look as nice as the Teggy Delete plug.
but if you do find a part that looks nice or sumthin be sure to post it up so we can see
