How To Remove dealer sticker on MSP

HI all,

I was wondering what is the safest way to remove a dealer sticker on the trunk above the "MAZDASPEED" emblem?

Thanks

My buddy used baby oil to remove the sticker fro his mustang.... worked good, but took a while.. make sure you sont use anyting w/ alcohol... that will eat your paint.

Take it back to the dealer and have him remove it. Occasionally they will give you some grief. Usually if you point out that the sticker obscures your vision and that it is a violation of the state law, they will remove it.

That is going to be difficult to convince the dealer of. The sticker is on his trunk lid. :)

try GOO Gone.

yeah, goo gone kicks many an ass. just put a some on a cloth, rub it on the sticker, let it sit for a couple minutes and just carefully try to peal it off. should work easily. then just wash the rest of the goo gone off.

just so u know unless the dealer asked you permission to put the sticker on your car they must remove it. just go and say that u didnt want the sticker on and u want them to remove it without any paint damage. they will without saying anything

If a dealer gives me a hard time about a sticker, i always ask to talk to the manager so we can discuss how much they are going to pay me for the advertising.

A hot day helps the hair dryer. I had all of my side moldings and labels removed on my S-10 by an aftermarket truck accesory shop. They charged me $60 for all of it. But for just a tag I would do it myself if the dealer wont do it. :)

And don't forget to run over the MOFO that put that sticker there, assholes
There is gotta be a law that gives life in prison for defacing cars like that.

Certainly take it back to the dealer. If they give you grief about removing it, then tell them they can pay you for the advertisement they are recieving.

i wrapped a screwdriver in a soft towel and pried mine off, the goo from it stayed for a couple of washes but it was hard to tell unless you looked very closely
