How To KILL Yellow Jackets

Operation yellow Jacket was a success. Photos upcoming. Casualties of war: 0=humans +/- 100 yellow jackets. Time of death of yellow jackets: 2:07 p.m. central. (Nest One) +/- 3:56 p.m. (nest 2)

We used several sprays. We took photos of everything we used in the gruesome battle. We used several cans of the foam stuff, and several cans of the paralyzer stuff. We pryed the timbers off on one of the nests and drenched the main nest. We looked ridiculous. I had a sweater, ski mask, and gloves and Eric dude had a friken snow suit on.

He also used some kind of dust which worked pretty well.

Photos are coming at lunch or tonight, whenever I have time. Santos had an "attempted" sting which was thwarted by the thick jacket he had on, LOL!

Alright guys and girls....what you've been waiting for. Pics!

1. Santos ready for some action in my driveway with some of our tools of the trade. Picture 2 guys looking like this running around your neighborhood or house, LOL! There were kids in the street too!

2. Santos posing in my front yard with our kill toys.....some wasp spray foam, various wasp freezes.

3. Myself suited up and ready to go.

These were all taken on the side of the house at the nest that was the worst.

1-3: I flipped all the timbers over while Santos kept the enemy in check. When I finally flipped that last timber over, we hit pay dirt. Santos sprayed the s*** out of the nest with the wasp spray foam and knocked more out of the air with the wasp freeze.

4-5: "Action" shots of myself "dusting" the area with Permethrin afte the wasp spray/foam action. I actually knocked one right out of the air with this stuff. Santos also got a face full. This was for residual action.

Alright, on to nest #2, the backyard.

We tried to pry up the timbers first, but they were staked too tight. So first we sprayed the outside of the nest with various stuff to scatter the enemy, then I got up close with the dust and dusted the s*** out of it. Mind you, we were sans bee outfits at this time due to the fact I was drenched. We then soaked the nest at close range with the wasp foam and freeze using a straw to penetrate deep into the enemy. After that, Santos pried up one of the ties and we blasted it. We than finished off with Great Stuff foam to trap in what was left and block them from returning.

Tools required (NOT including E and I):

1) a rake that was too short and you can't get your torque on

2) your neighbors metal pipe which was shorter than rake

3) winter clothes including mask

4) dozen spray cans

5) metallica 'for whom the bell tolls' playing in background after massacre

6) White insecticide dust

7) can of great stuff

8) Long Pry bar which we did not have

Santos beat me to it, but tools of the trade. 7, yes 7, cans of wasp spray/foam, 1 can of great stuff foam, one container of wasp dust, rake, short pry bar, metal pole, gloves, lots of jackets and winter wear to comprise our wasp suits.

Ohhhh......forgot about the water bottle straw.

Alright, my favorite pics now. The AFTERMATH!

1. Myself, immediately after doffing the suit, after wearing it for approx 1 hour fighting the enemy at the side of the house. Notice the awesome sweat pattern. We nixed the suits for the backyard operation.

2. Nest and queen bee death after the foam had subsided.

3. The vanquished. This is from Santos' initial blast after I removed the timber.

4. A close up of nest destruction.
