Here is a how to install oem rain visors on our mazdaspeed3's. This install is actually very easy. I did rain visors on my last Honda Civic and they were so much more of a pain in the ass. I thought i was in store for about 2 hours of install time but this literally took me under 25 minutes while having a friend have me pose for pictures.
tools needed:
rubbing alcohol
rags
The first step you want to do is organize your parts. this might sound stupid but it makes it a hell of a lot easier.
Here is the rear windows done first.
First you want to grab your rubbing alcohol and a rag and wipe down the surface where the visor is going to be mounted. No picture here.
Then take your visor and line it up and mark with a pencil where the holes for the clips will be mounted.
Next take your clips the small ones pictured and its as easy as pushing them in the little groove. you just need to move the weather stripping a tiny bit out of the way.
Once you have the clips in place remove the tape backing and place them on the edge of the door.
Next line the clips up with the hole. They should still move fairly easy. Following this you want to insert the button clip through the hole and through the bracket. Place one of the button caps on the stud of the clip fastener. Once it is lined up just push them in till they click.
Front windows.
Grab your supplies and pretty much repeat the rear except with 3 clips. Here are some pictures. Then just repeat on the other side of the car.
All done and looking fresh.
