How to install HID headlights.. not fogs??

I have seen the forum on how to install HID foglights.. but does anyone have a link or any help on how to replace headlights?

i have a 03 mazda6. i cant seem to change them because the squeeze is so tight under the hood and i cant get room to do anything in there?

do i have to take off my bumper?

1)take off the front bumper.
2)remove both headlights
3)drill small hole where the bulbs go so you can let the wires come out to the ballasts
4)and the left side use self tapping scews and install ballast on the outside of chassis.(you will have to remove air resenator under air filter, install ballast, then reinstall resanator)
5)remove washer jug to install right side ballast then reinstall jug.
6)then reverse operation... install headlights at the same time pluging in wires and install bumper.

make sure it works before you install bumper and set light angles.

Remove bumper, remove headlamps, then swap bulbs. Very easy, you can have both done in under an hour with simple tools too.

Yeah, you're going to want to remove the front bumper cover. You can try and do it without it but it's going to be really tough when you're trying to mount the ballasts. Removing the bumper cover will give you a better view of what you're doing and won't require you to snake/break your arm in multiple places in order to reach in there

Does anyone know the bulb type for the HID on the speed6? H11? Im about to grab a kit from DDM.
