How to get gauges in middle cluster?

How do they get the gauges to fit in the center (the lid on the dash) because I havent taken a close look but I ordered the top mount gauge cluster and have no idea how to run all my lines and stuff to there.

You have to remove the lid.

Basically, here is the process:
Remove the center console (the plastic around the cupholder).
Unplug the lighter/ashtray light
Undo some screws and remove the WHOLE radio/AC console - there is a hidden bolt behind the glovebox
It will appear that the damn thing will not come out, but there are clips holding it in - double check you removed all the screws and give it a yank
Unbolt the top console, and it comes right out.

You will have to drill a small hole in the bottom of the tray to run the wires through. And you have to remove the lid. I secured my gauge pod using velcro. If I get ambitious tomorrow, I will snap some pictures, too dark out now to get anything clear.

You have a PM from me ...

If you mean the center map pocket then you have to take the center dash out (not hard, there's a howto on the net). Between the vent pods there are grooves for the cables to run, you can see them in the pictures.

Good luck with the install...
