How To: Ebay FMIC

Id be happy to send you my left overs for just shipping cost. I'll have to double check but, I have a U, 2 straights and a 45. u'd just need couplers and a bov pipe.

thats roughly equal to what I'm offering, except with couplers, and a full FMIC worth of pipe instead of 1/4 of the kit and 2 useless straits. Plus the BOV and mounting pipe.

Wagon is your setup still that way?

I never got around to changing the routing... car has been gone for a few months now, and the FMIC setup is one of the remaining parts in the basement. I believe if you added a couple of 90* couplers to the kit as is, cut a hole in the core support, id a little measuring and cutting, you'd be good to go with improved routing.

I trimmed about 6 inches off of my U and an inch or two off of the L. So my U doesnt sit high at all compared to the one in wagon's first pic. I used 3 pipes out of the whole kit minus my quickly made intake with a 90 pipe. Didn't use the CAI holes on either side of the egine bay which means i still have my washer and coolant res in their original spots.

+1. What do you mean cut a hole in the core support though?

Yeah, If I had to do it over again I'd shorten the U off the turbo also. Only reason I didn't is because I had a 2" hump coupler on there to make the transition. lol

next to the rad, to pass the hot pipe through.

I used 1 of each pipe on my install. So I still have 1 of each pipe put away. I used 1 U pipe,1 90 degree pipe,1 45 degree pipe,1 75 degree pipe..I doubt u can buy each pipe individually plus couplers, clamps and get a cheaper price then just buying a new kit with everything. Straight pipes are definitely useless on the msp. As long as u have enough couplers,u can make anything work

Ya that's the kit that I bought. It's still a universal kit like what everyone else is buying but instead of it including straight pipes (2),it includes (2) 75 degree pipes
