How To: Ebay FMIC

i found a way to make a custom frount mount and still keep bump suport and still keep the injen cold air

basically you just have to copy the turbolife routing and get creative with what to cut out of the rad core support to make room for pipes.

X2 thats what I did. Still have my a/c,bumper was not cut one bit and everything else fits perfect.

I have looked around a little but couldn't find the turbolife fmic install instructions, might be hidden, or I just sucked at looking, but after lots of practice using the search, I think I just happened to miss it, so does anyone have the link handy?

But the turbolife the cuts are right where u bumper suport is. And ill get pics up when I can I might even make some myself and self them

Does anyone know where I can find like a 30x5x2.5 intercooler , I like mine but that would look better in the front

I think the turbo life is the biggest intercooler width wise that will fit our cars. though this summer i might try to make a custom core cause i want a intercooler similar in size. like 31x5.5x2.5. fill up that front grill and tucks under the crash bar.

largests ive seen is a 24" wide core. seems to be industry standard.

crap, after I checked it out again ya the one I ordered was only a 21" core.. hmm it's gonna be small, or smaller than I wanted it, I did just buy it, I will see how it looks when I get it, if it deff. is too small.. well I guess I can keep it for now until I build my engine and get a bigger turbo then I'll get that I thought I was ordering.. my brother's core is 24" so whatever that is otherwise.. maybe like 30"? oh well I will have to see how mine looks, for the price they are selling at, I could just sell this core back on ebay for around the same price, and get a bigger one sometime.. I just don't think I could wait for the new one lol, as it is, I am itching to get mine on now, and the kits should come in tomorrow or friday

ok cool, then the 27"(21" core) and 6" tall and 2.5" thick should be great right? even when I get the GT28rs? I know that since I put my "ram air scoop" under the crash bar for my smic core, the cold pipe temps have been really low, even after today when I was driving it pretty hard on the highway (I kept getting cars following me and driving quickly on the highway (not really fast but just consistent speeds going through traffic) and also the ms6 that was following me and we were having some fun boosting and setting our BOVs off all the time lol it was a pretty fun ride home from my trip to school (had to clear some things up and ask a proff. about something)

but ya for my brother's car it's great I think, he has 2" pipes on the hot side, then I think 2 to 2.5" pipes on the cold side, with a 24"X6X4 (might be 3.5 but I am pretty sure I measured 4) but he has a little bigger build and turbo that mine, it's the random ass turbo from an Izzu truck, still trying to hunt the manufacture down (Garrett) to find a wga that will work at lower psi, it was set stock to 12, but it's a A/R .60 I think GT25 with T3 compression side and a generally bigger on the intake side too.. but anyways his car works great with that, once I finally fix it up...thats all, sorry got off track lol
