what is a good way to ask a girl out on a date. should u ask for her number first and then get to know her then later ask her to go out on a date or should u ask to go out on a date at the same time getting her number. THe reason why i ask is because there is a girl at work that i am interested in and that i have caught staring at me multiple time and im wondering if that could be a sign. i already got her number a while back and the last time i spoke to her on the phone was about 6 months ago and the reason y i got her number was because she had a book that i needed for one of my classes. at that time i wasnt really hooked on her i was still hooked on my ex girlfriend. i have been out of the dating scene for a while recently just ended a 3 yr realtionship. so i really need help. thanks.

Just ask! If she is really interested in you, she's probably just waiting for you to ask her. If she's not interested in you, so what? I say it's always better to start with lunch and then work from there. Lunch can bee seen as just two friends hanging out, and after the lunch, you'll most likely gain a better understanding of her position towards you. Then, ask her out to dinner.

there is no good way to ask a girl out. no matter what the books or mags say. hell my brother got a cheerleader for the ravens i think, by sticking a cig in his ear, walking up to her and saying "this way my breath won't stink". So basically it is hit or miss. So either just ask flat out (lunch is a good start) or forget her.
