how the heck do you do it

on street tires launching an msp at 10-11 psi...how the heck are you guys doing it? i just spin everywhere

i'm going to the track tomorrow at 10 psi, hopefully i'll be able to do it.

When i was at stock boost i would usually slip the clutch from about 2 grand

you better rev it higher then 3k if you are doing a 2nd gear launch..

yeah....I usually do a 4.5 to 4.8k at the track. If you just want some serious tire smoke bring it above 5k lol.

Oh and yes you will break something eventually.

i have the profec b spec 2, but it doesnt have gear specific boost or anything...even in second gear the car spins badly...awd conversion anyone? hahaha

Yeah launch controls seems like a really cool thing. I remember this article from SCC Mag where a project Supra had anywhere from 8-30psi depending on where it was in the RPM/Gear range, good stuff.

haha yea, sure would be nice though..whats this launch control? ive heard that the traction control on some z28's worked really well...is it kinda like that??
