I think it's a great idea to keep this thread alive. I think it gives our cars the value it desrves by discussing it on here.
Even if you're not selling your car, it's always good to discuss it here. I think everyone here has great input and this is great for all MSP owners! thanks everyone.

Might sell my msp
well i am thinking of selling my msp having a baby in five months so dont want anything with turbo so can anybody tell me what i can get for it it has 47k and is completely stock except for CAI and aftermarket muffler so can anybody give me idea how much i can get for it

'03 Orange
9/10 exterior (just the usual assortment of minor rock chips on the front bumper and hood) everything else is perfect... always garaged and washed at least once a week. no bullet holes on the front bumper (for the license plate) caught the dealer just in time....
9/10 interior. (only real blemish inside are a few nicks here and there around the radio....)
Mods: Injen CAI, Custom MSP SMIC, Greddy Turbo Timer, Stewart Warner A/F Ratio & Boost gauges, Dave B Rings, Pioneer Avic D3 indash nav/dvd HU w/bluetooth & sirius modules as well as the ipod connector, high-end kicker speakers throughout, mtx thunder sub (replaced stock kenwood) in the trunk, 35% tints throughout, Vibrant exhaust, new ACT Stage 2 hybrid clutch (less than 3k miles on it), new Goodyear Eagle F1s (less than 3k miles on them),unichip, kartboy shifter bushings, rear swaybar poly bushings, upgraded rotors and pads (forgot the brand) but they've only got about 10k miles on them, APC Euro spec tails (as if that matters)... I think that's pretty much everything.
I think that pretty much sums it up... to say this car's been babied would be an understatement. 4+ years and no dings... always park it out in the boonies. Car's got about 68k miles and has been meticulously maintained
Not really interested in selling it... but at 29, I feel like I'm on the cusp of needing something a bit more professional/mature looking. I'm thinkin the Lancer Raliart might be in my future.... Either that or an MS3. Will probably put this thing up for sale once the spring rolls around. By then I'll probably have about 70k miles so... what do you guys honestly think I can get? It's paid off so I don't NEED to get any certain amount... but I'd obviously want to try and get the most possible.
I can part it out but... to me, that just seems like more hassle than it's worth. Everything was professionally installed so I'd have to pay for everything to be uninstalled... and then have the old stuff put back in. to me, that almost defeats the purpose since that added expense would significantly cut into the potential increased profit. Plus... I think most of the mods I have (that can be reversed) add value to the car...
So what do you guys think?

I tried to use kelly blue book for my car and the only option they have for the msp now is the dealer suggested price. no private party or trade in value. this is what they have to say. This Value Is Not Available

Time to Sell the Baby!!

I've always been a bit of a lurker here, but now I need an honest valuation.
Just bought an '07 Altima, much better for the baby. The MSP is sitting out in the garage, ready to go.
Just had front caliper and speed sensor replaced; everything but the radio is 100% stock, never modded. 100K miles- highway(but what does it matter, nobody believes you)
Over wheel-well- decent dent from #@#hole with a shopping cart. Another ding on the door. Otherwise, good condition.
Since it's a high mileage, would you bother getting the dents popped out? Getting it detailed? I had terrible offers from dealers.....
It's silver, 100K miles, fully stock. What's it worth??

gonna be getting rid of the speed
well i have decided that i want to get a truck so the speed is going to be traded in/sold. don't really want to trade it in cause there only willing to give me $4000 for it but i still have some shopping to do. if i do decide to sell it what do you think its worth.

the body is in good condition with the exception of a rock chip in the hood and a 3 small dents in the body.
the paint is in good condition except for a few scrathes here and there but it looks good when you get her all polished up.
the interior is in good condition except for a small tear in the driver seat and the pedals show some signs of wear.
nothing else is really wrong with the car that i am aware of.
just wondering what everyone thought.
i will miss the car but i need something a little more useful when it comes to hauling things. i do plan on buying another msp in a few years when i get a second car. well thanks for all your time, help, and suggestions.

truth is the resale value on these car's suck but its worth more than 4k. id say 6-7 depending on the car.

hey guys ive had the msp sitting for a few months now and am considering going to the dark side (honda) jw if anyone had some insite on the resale value for these bad boys... btw it has a recently rebuilt motor ( >1000 miles) stock everything else and about 45,000miles on the chassis
