how much money have YOU spent?

I just counted it all up, and including all the dinky things, maintenance, oil changes (2 of them, since I only bought the car in spring), cruise control, bike roof rack...I'm at >5grand!!!(boom08) ...6.5 grand by the spring time with all the stuff I have in mind. I thought it would be in the 3grand range, but holy crap that's insane considering I bought the car for 10grand, and have only paid 1000$ on the principle as it stands now...
Breakdown is:
Performance: ~2250$
Appearance: ~850$
Maintenance (ya I know it doesn't really count, but it's still in there): 850$
Other stuff (including specific car tools and gizmos, and stuff mentioned above): ~1250$
And that doesn't even include all the other stuff did by the previous owner (coilover sleeves, clunk bracket, battery, XM radio, etc...)

I used to lease a 2005 Madza3 Hatch.
Also had one of the first batch of MS3's on order, but got sick of waiting for it to come out. Also I felt the final price on it was a bit steep here in Canada.
