On a funny side note ALWAYS insist on being there when your car is being put on a lift at a shop when its tuckin tire!!! Especially of said person driving it cannot drive standard and didnt put the ebrake on........ Yup my car fell off a lift yesterday, broke the front bumper and destroyed the oil pan. Pissed oil all over the place. SO PISSED!!! It's a good thing I'm not really driving it much anymore...... I just wanted an alignment :(

****** right they're paying for it!!!!!!!! If not I'd be out there right now bustin some knee caps! Basically they had it on the lift with no ebrake in neutral and the first bolt they tried to loosen it just pushed the car and it fell off the front of the lift. Luckily it wasn't too high, surprisingly my intercooler and all the piping is fine as well as all the body. Its just the bumper itself that broke then smashed the oil pan and broke the drain plug off. So new oil pan, new bumper and lip with paint and it should be good. I was pretty pissed about it but really it can be fixed and I was gonna put it away for winter anyway. Actaully...... my front bumper already had some damage from the previous owner ;) So I get a free new bumper haha

So this is a lift where they put the weight on the wheels. I was thinking it was impossible to drop a car from a lift which puts the weight on the rocker panels...

yeah, it was for an alignment right so it had to be sitting on the wheels for proper adjustment and to get all their fancy tools on. It was like the third shop i tried, most people say. "We cant get your little tuner car on our lifts, you have to have a massive chev truck with a 8 inch lift kit to get on(butt)"

or they might say, "I can't get the alignment tools on your fancy rims, you have to have a topaz with 13" stealies in order to get an alignment(argh)"

GAWD!!! JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 17 inches is THAT big and its STOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually took off the 18s because i thought i would run into that problem but I still did with the 17s. WTF

does anyone consider this like an addiction, just like gambling or cigarettes?

cuz once i get one thing done, i right away start thinking about what i want to buy next...

at first i was like 'well if its under $100 then its not too bad'...
now im like '...well if its under $500 thats a good price'....

*hands shake uncontrollably* i cant stop!!!!
