HoW MuCh is Too Much???

okay, i was thinking of adding more guages in my car, right now i have a lot as we speak, but i wanted to add more to monitor the car better, right now i have oil pressure, water temp, egt, bo0st, an rspeed a/f meter, another a/f meter, and a 5" tach...i wanted to add a fuel pressure gauge and a nitrous gauge for when i get n2o....i was just thinking what everyone thought, some said what i have already is too much, but i want to monitor the car....let me know what you think, heres a pic

oh, and the other 2 would go on a 3 full gauge a pilar pod, with the a/f meter just sitting on the dash

Yo i bet you could make a lot of money if you had him make that gauge pod in the dash, and sell them. but then again, it wouldnt be as original. And yeah, i would get the gauges, as long as they have a purpous, it's better to be safe than sorry, you can never have too much secutiry.

haha that is some funny s***. I think you have to many already.
1)I say lose the tach and make the speedo the odo and vice versa by switching the plugs and making a custom gauge face with integral shift light if that is important to you(can this be done?)
2)Lose the EGT and AF gauges and get a wideband to put under the CD player or in the pocket next to the steering wheel.
3)Don't change a thing with that gauge pod that s*** is more trick than them bitches walkin' on Filmore St.

i agree with melicha8 about the tach that is a cool idea. the extra gauges would look fine but u gotta lose that thing on the steering wheel man. just my .02

you need an outside tempreture gauge just like bimmers have. they have the sensor behind the bumper.

LOL, thanks for all the feedback guys, i think imma just go with the 3 gauge pod a pillar style, the 2 a/f meters are just cause i bought too many and just using them cause i have them, if anyone wants to buy one, be my guest, name a price and we will see....a wideband from terry should be coming in soon so thatll be co0L, imma put one of those COOL extinguishers on the passenger side, probably paint all of the middle plastic pieces (the a pilars, the seatbelt plastics, etc.) black...

Hey, I've been wanting to do that passanger side guage setup since my cousing first got his 99 civic si!!! At least I know how it'll turn out! BTW, are you going to see if you can get some made, cuz I'd be highly interested.
As for the guages. They all do have purpose, but there are alot. Why don't you install an LCD screen where the stock HU was and link up some digital gauges into it. That way you'd be hitech.
Or you could redo the entire dash in Fiber Glass and have some really custom stuff going on with the guages. Maybe you could have that shop in HI to sponsor your car and show it off at car shows. Just ideas.
