How much HP from upped boost?

here's an idea, goto a dyno and dyno it stock at stock boost then 5 mins later turn the boost up, and dyno it again, see how much it changes. NO 2 DYNOS WILL BE THE SAME, evar..

perhaps you'd like to fund this little "experiment" of yours.

not seeing where i called it an "experiment". If someone is going to goto a dyno might as well go with stock boost then turn it up and see exactly how much each psi makes a difference in a msp. id say each psi on that tiny t-25 would be around 5whp(untill around 15psi where it runs out of efficiency range)
 
My first dyno pull bone stock, stock boost, was 153. So rull of thumb, 1 psi - 10hp is about right, i added 5 psi and pick up nearly 50hp. My car goes to 6 psi but falls to 5. Just my little piece of info, believe it or not.
 
these are the mods i have..custom hardpipes, turbosmart dual port bov, turboxs mbc, hybrid intake, ngk iridium plugs, joep (fcd)(fpr), magnaflow exhaust, downpipe, wideband a/f, greddy turbo timer, waiting on standalone...boosting 15 psi and was dyno'd at 263 hp at the wheels. i've seen another msp 2003 dyno @ 305hp.. you can get power out of the msp very easily..with the help of some $$$$$.

so you basically turned the boost up with an exhaust and got 263whp(those other "mods" dont really do anything), why do i find this very hard to believe?

rather you believe it or not, dyno's don't lie.. just like my freinds srt4..all he did was plugs and adjust alittle spring and he is pumping between 17 - 20 psi and dyno'd at over 290hp,, so if you don't believe it, the only thing i can say is crank your boost to 15psi and go dyno...and i did forget to mention header..but those few mods got me to 263hp rather you believe it or not..i did join the 13 sec club. and rather you believe it or not i've got 3 more mods to add in the next month then i'll dyno again, and i should be close to 300hp...believe it or not...then i might be able to join the 12 sec club..believe it or not...oh and didn't joep have less mods than that and his was at 255hp..so it can be done....BELIEVE IT OR NOT........... can i ask you a question? what the **** do you know? probarably boosting your girly 6-7 psi. because your to scared you'll blow your engine.. you don't think discreet is over 250hp? or the other guy in the video section who ran a 13.1 @ 105 is over 250? i'll find a way to video tape my cars engine bay then explain my mods , then video tape a 1/4 run, then i'll even post video of the dyno and when it reads over 260 maybe then you'll believe. but like i said before i don't give a good s*** rather you believe it or not.. and as for being a kid...wrong..i'm 32 years old and been around longer than you have ..you probarably still live with mom and dad.. live paycheck to paycheck and they buy every thing for you.. so when you get your car over 250hp..which you never will being scared to push it to the limit. then you may speak about 263 thats bulls***. so until you know for a FACT that it is not possible with those mods, keep your comments to yourself. i don't even know why i'm explaining myself to a mere child...i know whats true and thats all that matters.. 263 and climbing..................BELIEVE IT OR NOT.... I'm glad to see your crystal ball is able to tell where i live and what i do simply based off a few characters on a website. I am utterly amazed. I'm not even going to entertain you by coming back with what i do, where i live, ect, because i could honestly care less of what you think about me. Bottom line is you dont know me, so stop trying to act like you do.

Go look at the dyno posted on a different post regarding someone hitting the 191 whp mark with pretty much the exact same mods as you, just boosting 10psi. No way is an additional 5 psi gonna add 63whp. Especially considering HP gained off boost lowers as the PSI is raised, I.E. raising from 8psi to 9psi will add more than raising from 14psi to 15psi. You would imagine a 32 year old would act a little more mature, and not be so defensive when responding on a forum. If you honestly want to gain an ounce of respect, please try to act like an adult, as you claim to be one. The fact that you use words like "girly" and have to constantly curse throughout your post gives away the fact that you are obviously not 32 years old. Not to mention you obviously didnt pass spelling, which i thought was a pre-requisite for getting your highschool diploma...

Oh and BTW, i was on the UMD FSAE race car team, and before my MSP i rebuilt an LS/Vtec engine. So yes I do know alot about cars, I wouldnt consider myself an expert, but obviously i know considerably more than you.

who knew omniscient mechanical wizards browsed internet forums? i swear some of these guys think they can even tell you what you have and havent done in the past 10 years, right down to what you had for breakfast that first day you realized you should've used preperation H...
