How much gain from CAI?

Honestly, I haven't heard good things about the Injen despite the fact that 1/3 of the MSP owners on here seem to have it.

iON's CAI gained 29 midrange whp on an MSP with just the iON FMIC.

I'm eager to see how much Perrin's SRI gains.

INtakes by them selves don't do much. What's the huge diffence between the Injen and Ion's?

Ion's made so much power because the super restrictive SMIC was removed so the stock air box became the next bottleneck

injen definitly lost torque down low so you would have to drive the car harder.

i agree... i believe ull get a better 0-60 time with the stock airbox... by 0.1 of a second tho.. not much diffrence..

Have you noticed the rpm your tubo was spooling before and now? Like I said earlier, mine spools 500rpm lower so you get more power a little bit sooner.

Like I said, I don't notice any improvement in power. That would extend to how quickly the power comes on.

The one area where the CAI might help a little is leaning out the mix a tiny bit if you can draw in a greater volume of air.
