I just bought an 05 Mazda 6i. And I found out after that the motor is a Ford Duratec. Does anyone know how much of this car is Ford? What are the differences? It has a Made in America sticker. I fugured it was assembled here with Japanese parts. I knew they shared with the Ranger and Tribute but not the 6. Help!!!!

Everything. 100% of your car is ford. Even the emblems and stuff that says Mazda.

There isn't a single car manufacturer (outside of the 80k+ cars) that don't share parts.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but pretty much every sub 50k car is made up of parts from a multitude of manufacturers.
Your car is part mitsu, part ford, part mazda, part volvo, and I bet there is some gm and honda parts in there somewhere.

altima is faster than 6 but after the straights disapear the handeling and parking is horrible. I'm talking mess up a wet dream while laying in bed next to a necked beyonce horrible! It's not hearsay I physicaly did drive the 05 V6 altima. I felt what we would call shift shock in the altima as well.
