Only post if you don't mind saying. :)

I have a 2002 Protege 5.

I am 24, live in MN and have 2 speeding, 1 seatbelt and 1 other..alcohol realated ticket.

I pay $160 a month trough Progressive.

Just want to know about what the average is that people pay.

Thanks,
Ryan

2003 P5

I believe we pay around $600 a half for the P5 with full coverage and $500 deductables. Nationwide Insurance Company. Spotless record.

$3,000 a year here. And I'm even 25. Big discount huh? :(
Apparently the insurance company qualifies the P5 as a sports car...I was hoping with it's 4-doors and 4-cyl engine they'd get the hint...that it's NOT. Anyway I have 1 speeding ticket and 1 accident. NJ insurance is horrible- the biggest racket around. It's all about making money.....damn crooks! *sorry for the rant*

Age 50+, State Farm, no accidents or tickets for 10+ years - We pay $35 per month, full coverage, $250 deductible.

$30 per month for the same coverage on the Miata, and $9.00 per month for full coverage on my classic '66 Corvair Corsa convertible (driven 2,000 miles per year or less).

Ah, a kindred spirit...

I had a '65 Corsa coupe (at least it was before Don Yenko got a hold of it!). I really miss that car. Probably the most fun I've ever had in a car. Jim

i pay 330 a month for full coverage on my car...18 with a aiding and abeding speed contest ticket and suspended licens...damn cops

Let's see....20 yrs old....been driving since I was 15.....no speeding, no accidents, hell I haven't ever been pulled over at all.

I have the worst insurance....meaning I have $1000 deductables, I pay over 238 every month. Thats almost 1500 every 6 months. I live in Houston which has CRAP insurance rates. It really blows.

$1200 every 6 months with Progressive. 2 tickets and 1 accident. I hate paying insurance

i was paying 310 a month w/ a 1000 dollar decuctable, but since my credit union whom i got the loan for the car from got pissy with that, i had to make the deductable 500, so now i'm paying 350. I'm 19 and the only tickets i ever had were non moving violations for not having my licence on me and one for improper display of tag.

my old 89 240sx was 210, and my old probe was 160.

Mine went up to ~$500 every six months from ~$350 per month for my Celica. State Farm said the MP5 had a higher parts replacement cost. My old car had a "factor of 13" and the new one a "factor of 17" or something like that.

34 years old, nearly clean record, seldom ticketed, Dallas, TX. I need to take a blow-off defensive driving class to get that 10% off that we get in TX.

MP5s Make Ready,
Have you taken that class?

Well I'm 22 with no accidents, with 1 speeding ticket that I went to traffic school 1 week after the ticket and got it fixed. In all likelihood the DMV doesn't even know I had a ticket, which I did ask about my records and they show nothing...

Now I believe my insurance is $460 every 6 months thats $76.6... a month using Wawanesa (who I've only been with for less then 1 month), I used to be with Farmers and I had it at $640 every six months.

Now different Insurance Companies have different ways to categorize cars, thank fully Farmers and Wawanesa classifies my car as a 4dr Wagon, if it had been classified as a Hatchback I know the insurance would be a lot more. If at all possible get Lo-Jack (anti-theft/police will be able to track your car when you issue it stolen), because as soon as I said to my agent my car carries it they removed $200 from my premium, which the Lo-Jack pretty much paid for itself right there.

Yes, between it and my '94 R package Miata, sometimes it's a little hard to get excited about driving the P5 . . . . but I still do!
