how do you swap hand brake cover?

i wanna swap the original rubber like to a carbon fiber one.

not sure how to take the original one off. is it glued on ?

I cut mine off, it's not glued but very tight possibly moulded on

that wont fit.. but to get it off you just gotta pull. a lot.
