how do you sit in your car?

and as for "finally some adults"....there are 2 things you can do about that. either 1 be mindfull what you post, or 2 grow some thicker internet skin.

personally i am a more serious poster, but there are some times when a Q is so out-of-whack that it deserves an ignorant answer/comment

well this is the lounge part of the forums so i think it has room for some off topic questions or out-of-whack questions

seat forward enough to push the clutch in the whole way while still having a bit of a bend at the knee with the back up far enough to rest my wrist at the top of the steering wheel with my arm fully extended.

auto trans - try to lay back
manual - naah my feet wont reach the clutch if i do the above lol.,.,.

I usually tend to put my ass cheeks on the seat, with my feet going towards the pedals. I have found that any other combination (ie upside down with hands on pedals) just isn't practical.

Even though I am only 5'7", I've had arthritis since I was 12 & don't like to sit with my legs bent all the time. So I sit farther back from the pedals than most people my height & go for more leg extension on my clutchin' foot. 6' tall service techs often end up moving my seat closer to the wheel.

But it's not like I'm driving from the back seat, and I sit pretty darned upright.

i take it your a goon too? sorry if i offended you

Yes, you guessed it, I am the biggest goon of them all.

geeze finally some adults up in here and people who know what im talking about. yea it too funny to see the short girls with there face pretty much in the wheel. wouldnt want to know how it ends up with the air bags go of in a crash

You need to take the stick out of your ass. This is the internet. You are going to get a bunch of people saying stupid things, especially when you post something as dumb as this. Anyways, if you need a tampon I can send you one from my girlfriend's drawer. It might make your riding position a little more comfortable.

Also, you will continue to get owned on this forum, not only for your rediculous questions, but more so for your utter disregard for basic spelling and grammar. Sounds like someone else needs to grow up eh?

ridiculous? ;)

in all seriousness, i dont find this car as comfortable as all other cars ive owned for some reason.

like, in most cars ive been able to plant my left foot on the floor and my knee will be high enough to rest my left arm on it... but not in the ms3... like, the seat is way too high off the floor.

also, i feel like the steering wheel is too far from reach when my leg/feet position is correct. if i get closer to the wheel so i can comfortable grab the wheel, my legs are bent way too close. my right knee is hitting the center console and my thighs are hitting the wheel...

i dont like it =(

im 5'10 btw

yea its the internet not english class. it looks like you understand what im typing so im getting my point across. im not here to show grammar and spelling

and i dont think its a ridiculous question yea a lil out of the box but my point was do you have the "gangster lean" in your car or not. i want to here why if anyone did cause the person looks stupid to me if they do it in a performance car

do you use the telescoping steering

I'm surprised you can't get comfortable. I'm 6'3" and find the car very comfortable and I'm not even sitting all the way back. It did take some time to "tweek" my position though.

i have wheel all the way out, assuming that's why you titled your last post. im 6'2'' and it makes me feel like i have more knee room.

i owned a miata for a short time and the only thing i wish it had (keeping with this general discussion) was more steering wheel adjustability. with the right shoes i had the legroom, but damned if the wheel just never quite got out of the way. still miss it though
