How do you guys like your Sport exhaust

I have aP% and don't want to get the oh soooo nice Bosal exhaust and need something that looks better than stock for shows. How does the MP3 exhaust sound and are you guys happy with the look of it?

I HATE most of these other pipes that make the cars sound like pissed off bumble bees. That high pitched annoying loud ....well I'm sure you've heard one.

The MP3 is really deep for a 4 cyl. It's gotta a wonderful growl to it. It's not loud at low rpms. But on the highway, while not really loud at all, it does start to get obvious on really long trips.

Overall, I love it. Just wish I had a 6th gear for on the highway.

i feel you on the 6th gear...highway driving is pretty cumbersome due to our tires too...pretty noisy. hey MYFBPEX00 i dont know if the MP3 exhaust will fit on your p5...ive heard that the tip extends too far past the rear valence, and its angled wrong. you might want to check up on that before ordering it. if you're just concerned about looks for shows...try just getting a nice muffler and have a shop weld on a flange so you can get it switched back and forth or whatnot. the JIC muffler looks sweet! might wanna look into that...search the forums for JIC.

MYFBPEX00, if you were talking about ordering the MP3 exhaust...don't...it doesn't fit the P-5...HOWEVER....Mazda does sell a sport exhaust specifically for the P-5. I have been told its the same muffler as the MP-3's but its made with the correct tip and fitment for the P-5. Its like $180 or something like that from your local Mazda dealer.

I liked my muffler when i first got it......but when i put a short ram on it....whoooooo it was sweet!!! I love the low tones it produces.

My friend got one of those universal (and crappy) canister exhausts off ebay and installed it on his P5. He took me for a drive and I braced myself for a high pitched whine, but it was a surprising nice low rumble (with the silencer in). In fact, it wasn't very noticeable with a conversation going. With music I couldn't even hear it. Without the silencer, it gets louder, but not to the point where my ear drums burst. And it's still relatively low. This is all good, when compared to my other friend's Civic with a universal canister exhaust. Man, that thing makes high pitched farting sounds, it bugs the hell outta me.

I wish there was something like the Greddy Evo exhaust for our cars. I saw a WRX with one of those, damn it's nice.

I am talking about the SPort exhaust for the P5. I know that your MP3 exhuast is different. I just don't feel like spending the extra $300 when the Racing Beat finally ships when our exhaust is already stainless. Thanks for your helpl guys, I think I am gonna roder it from Mazdastuff.com today, it totals like $203 shipped.

I like my mp3 exhaust, but ever since I got my cai on, I have been dying for a new one. I am looking at the bosal now since there aren't many others to choose from. That s*** sounds sweet

actually I did not say Racing beat exhaust. I said the sport exhaust, it is on mazdaparts.com, or mazdastuff.com cant remember. I got it about a month ago so t doesn't really matterr now, lol. ANd the Racing Beat if shipping now has also been design to fit the P5's.
