How do you clean this?

Hey all,

I'm thinking it's time to clean my MAF sensor, but I've heard many things about how it's so sensitive to solvents? I'm sure someone has cleaned it before, what did you use? did it make any difference to start up? etc.

Just DON't use chlorinated brake clean, unless you like agonising hacking fits....

Okay got the stuff from advanced auto and all cleaned, lets see if it helps with my irratic a/f jump on the DH.

so cleaned the maf sensor and NOPE, no change in A/F reading on the DH.....SIGH..can't figure out what else is causing the A/F ratio to jump back and forth from 14.58-14.69-14.81 constant back and forth during idle and drive.

Not terribly familiar with the speed3 and it's closed-loop behavior, but I don't see anything unusual about AFRs fluctuating by .2 points while idling and driving.

Well strange part is it's never really fluctuated until recently and the car seems to not want to spool, just strange.
