How do I fix roof rattle caused by bass notes?

This has been annoying for a long time now, and when it gets warm out (IF it ever gets warm out), I want to take out the interior top panel and put some vibration killer up there and hopefully fix a rattle.

When the bass hits hard enough, the top panel vibrates pretty badly, especially near the front reading lamps. It sounds really gross when it happens. What's the best way to kill that noise? Maybe stuff some foam or cloth up there?? I'm curious to what others have done, and how well it has worked.

On that same subject, how do you get that top panel off? I'm really not sure what to search. Link to a how-to would be fine. Thanks!

I would be really reluctant to rip that down since getting back up perfectly is unlikely.
If it was me, I'd try to inject some adhesive/foam into the buzzy area with a large bore needle.
