I did it on accident the other day when I started the car and turned off dcs. I havent been able to duplicate it yet. I did a search and came up with nothing. Any help? Im in a Speed 3 GT

Two things:

One, you can turn the DSC off just by pressing the button, at any time.

Two, you can turn off the DSC and Traction control by - Pushing the DSC button before turning the key, hold it down. Turn the key to on, keep holding,...about 6 seconds. Once the DSC light blinks on, start the car. You should then have the traction control light on, and the dsc light on.

i notice steering is lighter (wheel turns easier) and there is less lag when you first get on the throtle. Turning while under open throtle will give a lot of wheel spin so you really have to be easy and feather the throtle. I always go DSC off and only run traction control off while in race mode (wrc)

You will see how overpowered the fwd system is with traction control off.

Not sure how much traction control effects our cars but in other cars boost control, timing, throttle control, etc is limited with traction control turned on.

The car seems to have less digital intervention when I turn it fully off, so I try to do it when I feel that I might be driving "spiritedly"

I always (always) *ALWAYS* turn off at least the DSC when I drive, unless it is raining here in vegas.

for normal driving i leave the dsc on...u never know when something might catch u off gaurd. ....one hand on wheel...the other drinking a coke....deer jumps out. That sort of thing

Wait a second...It doesn't help this AT ALL.

All the traction control does is keep the wheels from spinning under acceleration situations. The skid and stability control simply helps people who are flustered with FWD snap-oversteer and other ugly mistakes.

If you know how to drive, this just simply isn't necessary.

ABS, on the other hand, is always handy. So, that stays in service no matter what buttons you press.
