How are the MS6 cars doing with higher mileage

I have an 06. It has about 17k miles on it. Just started getting what sounds like a wheel bearing squeak up front. At the dealer now for the 2nd time to have it looked it. Other than that the car has been fantastic.

How are the higher mileage cars holding up? Anything to keep an eye out for? Should I look into picking up an extended warranty once the 4yr/50k is up?

Thanks for your input!

48k here. A few people have much higher. No real issues as of now. Have had the purge valve replaced, emissions recall, belt tensioner went bad, all the axles replaced, and just had the clutch tsb performed. I do have an extended warranty so my drivetrain is still covered up to 75k.

Total noob here, but... why did you have to get all of the axles replaced already? What was wrong with the purge valve? I will look into finding the answer while waiting for your response. :)

local guy here in cleveland is selling his with 70,000 miles on it. he's only had the basic keyless issues that we all have. its its modded pretty good (or at least was, i think he's parting it out)

I was having an issue of the rear end clunking with a load on the drivetrain at speeds above 20mph. Dealer said it was coming from the front axles. Replaced both. Didnt stop. Replace rear passeneger side. Still. Replaced rear drivers side. Stopped.
The purge valve CEL kept coming up so they replaced that. Later on I got one for the swirl valve so they replaced that. not sure exactly what it is maybe someone could clear it up. It has to do with the flaps inside of the intake which is controlled by this. The cel stated it was stuck open. I havent had a problem with this since and that was 30k miles ago.

No keyless entry problems yet.

Great feedback so far. Do most folks have an extended warranty? Planning to keep the car past the warranty period?

i just had my rear diff. replaced not to long ago. and last night i found out that my turbo needs to be replaced. i was trying to put an inlet pipe on when i saw oil on the inlet. i checked for shaft play and boy was there some. my car has 40xxx miles on it and getting closer to 41000 every time i get in it. good thing i got that extended warranty(thumb)

My 2006 (one of the first) has 57,000KM on it with nary a problem. It runs as well today as the first day I got it.

I have 67,000 miles on my 2006, and haven't had any issues until my clutch just went out, which seemed to last longer than most other peoples clutches. I am happy with the way this car has held up.
