man, i just installed my su hardpipe. the stock pipe is such a bish to get off! omg, 1 hour of pulling and yanking. but it was a 10min install for the new one lol.

ah, fun project though. my dad was kind enough to help me yank lol.

hey guys, how bad is the cold pipe to get off?

I noticed a louder spool at low boost. Very low boost. Like I'm jus starting to accelerate and I can hear the spool way louder then before. I'm happy.

And for the hotpipe, I was on my way to work and I punched it for a second, my bpv did a nice whoose "no turkey" and then it stalled. Lol. The hotpipe at the turbo came off. Luckly I had my tools and I just adjusted the bottom clamp lower into the silicone, as of now its ok no problems. But I got the turkey back lol.

just get a heat gun, or even a hair dryer, and that will help if you have problems with getting the pipe off though. I do know a friend who had a hell of a time getting his SU coldpipe ON, though.... the fitment was not real great.

it's safer to over tighten a little. i've never had any pipes blow off before. on the stock plastic pipes, i wouldn't tighten too much cuz the plastic can crack. but on the silicone couplers and aluminum pipes, you can tighten till your hands hurt.
