Hopefully an MS3 owner by the end of the day!

Yeah, I saw the carfax for the car. Showed 1 owner, no accidents, and oil changes and tire rotations at the dealer every 7 thousand (or whatever is recommended. I can't remember.) I realize Carfax doesn't always show everything, but I did like what I saw there.

Definately get some snow tires. Car is horrible in the snow without them as most people will attest to, but I with snows it is a very compitent. I love it in the snow. Any 3 season tire will fail in the snow, even if it is just an ich.

So why are so many people bailing out of their MS3 so early? I love mine and want to drive it until it can't drive no more.... which will be the saddest day of my life. If possible I plan to be burried next to my car.

I haven't YET...but I would recommend getting winter tires. Even in 2 inches, the Speeds are terrible in the snow (imo). I work at a local Mazda Dealership, and we park the Speed's, Miata's, and Rx8's under the awning out front so we don't have the move them at all when the snow plows come through. They are the most difficult to get moving. When I bought my '07 I was going 20mph down a hill that was curved. There was only an inch on the ground...the car wouldn't turn and so I ran into Accent rocks in front of a house....It only had 700 miles on it. Very sad day. OR I'd just get 16in, wheels and tires from someone with an I Model Mazda3 (09 or older). They'll fit.

PS--Although you probably already have...did you get a CARFAX? Though they don't show every little detail, it's still a nice resource.

I thought 16" wheels didn't clear the rotors? Somebody please clarify this for me. I was told the minimum was 17" that you could fit on here. If 16's fit, I am going to go down and b****-slap the guy at the stealership. I wanted to buy some 16" steelies with winters on them and he said I needed to buy 17's (pissed)

I have 16" steelies from tire rack and they clear my rotors just fine. I think some 16" steelies might not (haven't confirmed either way), but the Tire Rack ones definitely do.

Son of a b****!!!! I am going to KILL that salesman!!! I knew I should have just checked it myself.
