hooking up hid

just to start i just joined this is my 1st post so please be nice lol. i've looked around threads prior to writing so if there is a post already please tell me where to go if not here we go. i have an 04 6s wagon with sport package. i want to put hids in the low beams, ive been looking at the phillips kits are they worth the money 1st. and are there any detailed instructions, videos etc on this before i but and try it. i am mechanically inclined i just want to know what im getting into before i do it. also that black cap that seal where the bulbs goes, does that stay on or does it stay open, how does the ballast connect to the bulb otherwise? anything to help me in the right direction would be great thanks again.

Try looking at HIDextra.com. I have them on my car and they work great. The price is pretty good for the conversion kit as well...less than $100

check out ddmtuning they have a fairly priced kit...very very easy to install...i recommend taking the housings out of the car and work with em...you can mount the ballast under the headlights...there is a spot there for them..

thanks quest i was looking at xenonsupply.com there phillips kits are on sale for 110. is there much involved when reinstalling the light and having it aimed right?

the lights aim themselves as long as you mount them the same way they came out. just be sure the bulbs are in the housing properly and there is no worries.
