Are there any cheap little home made tricks that I can do to my car for just a little bit more speed?

Just curious.

Im not really sure taht I have the answer for your question, but I believe that you were concerned in another thread about mods voiding the warranty? Well I could be wrong about that, but I do know that if you are worried about voiding the warrany, DIY mods are NOT the way to go. At least with bolt on mods, you can keep the stock parts and put them back on before going into the dealer. Now you can do what you please, but I know for a fact if you go to the dealer with a warranty concern and they see something that you modified by yourself, youre most gonne be up s**** creek without a paddle

I'm definatly not interested in voiding my warranty but if there is anything that I can remove or reverse when going to the dealer which I'm sure won't be that often then i'm up for it.

You can do a throttle body bypass kit, remove the resonator, Balance Shaft Delete kit (Hard for warranty to pick up), ground the throttle body (not really speed) etc... PM if you are interested in any of these. I have give you advice.

EDIT: oh not sure if all these will work on the speed 3 though.

top mount intercooler swaps out in 15 minutes or less. nutari removed, installed and went on a test drive in the span of 45 minutes.

I actually wouldn't mind pulling the resonator until a CAI is made available for a little more engine noise and doubtfully anymore umph.

hahah, MBC. Worked on the Miata. :)

17psi of retardedness. If you have like 10$ to spend and time to run to Lowes/Home Depot you can get fixed up.

She's probly refering to a home made mbc, had one on my srt, but we already run like 16psi so I don't see why there would be need for an mbc at this point.

(last time I checked Kristin was definately a woman)

in either event a MBC wont do much... its a K04 turbo correct? Arent they out of their effeciency range ~ 18-19psi? I have research! (glare)

Pfft, that's a first.

I'll have to apologize for that I don't really pay attention to someones screen name and didn't know you were female. And what's a first?
