Home Depot lip, yes or no?

i think davexpro5 ( i think thats his name ) has one on his laser blue mp5 that looks great. look it up ive had a discussion with him about it so maybe itd come up in a search except i hate the search feature on this forum

I am more worried about the "clean cut" than anything. Plus, I'd probably use some sort of plug or pin to hold it up. I'm not a huge fan of double sided tape to hold things onto my car.

I'd like to see a wind splitter for the MSP kind of like this...

By that pic I mean with the little ties holding it to the kit. I don't know why but I love that look and think the MSP has the styling to do it.

Why? Who cares if you use something from Home Depot. If it looks good, and you like it, great. I mean, no offense (cause I own one too) but it's a Mazda. If I had, say, a Ferrari F430 and I was thinking about Depoting my front lip, buying Rotas, and cutting springs... then I'd say you have a case.

Depot it up man and don't let the haters get you down.

looks best on spd6 and 3..somone on here has a blue p5 and has done it nicely..dont remember who, but u do have options of a real lip for the p5..

If you like bubble tint from wal-mart, your super-awesome lip from Home-Depot and the outstanding ride from cutting springs, then awesome. If you're just too poor to afford an actual mod on your car then maybe you should just save up or better yet, spend the money on your bills and food? If you have any real sense of pride in a car why in the hell would you cheap out like that? Why don't you buy an eBay turbo kit at the same time so you can melt the manifold all over the engine bay, I heard that's pretty fun too.

home depot lip isn't ghetto like you're describing it to be. there are a lot of cheap mods out there that aren't "ghetto" s***. its called being creative. early boost controllers were made out of HD parts. Are they ghetto? They work, I've used one. Step off your high horse, you drive a damn protege...

Also people run ebay turbo kits without issue and put down good numbers ;)

We heard your awesome opinion the first time guy. And I told you to go away didn't I?

I LOLed....

It's effin stupid telling people how much to spend on a mod for their vehicle. I mean seriously, spending money on your bills and food? I don't need some guy on the internet telling me how to spend my effing money. The hell is wrong with you?

I lol'd real hard.

But for real, as I said, we drive Mazda's. Nothing against the Flying M but I agree with Sean. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it's wrong or won't work. Hell, I've seen straight up race cars make wooden wind splitters and go on to win their class. Not only is it creative but it's getting bang for buck. If you want, go ahead and spend 30k on a car that's worth about 1/5 of that.

Santos man... you're too much... (laugh)
