I for one, won't do this mod.
Not because it makes my car look "ghetto" or cheapens the quality of my car. (seriously its a Mazda its already cheap)
I won't do it because of future plans that sadly involve 30k into the car.
If you don't have further plans then I say go for it. Though I would use double sided tape first so you can get a look at it. If you like it then stick it on with something better.

it's the bottom of the bumper, even if you put screws in it, when and if you go to sell it, just put a new strip and the holes are covered. lol

I think the lip is a win win

I say we need more pics of the HD lip installed.

Man up and buy a real car part instead of ghetto rigging garbage from Home Depot.

This coming from the guy who purcahsed a modded protege5 and calling another p5 not a real car.... I guess you need to take your own advice.

umm i took off adhesive :D
i have very little i went ahead got got BIIG washers and just did the bolt washer held down by a nut :D
its alot more effective and just a lil bit of 3m double sided tape where its not held down by the washers. and its done quite well over the past year and roadtrips down to houston and back to dallas
more pics..i show ya more i guess

btw these arent recent pics...i dont have pics with the new washers and less adhesive method..i redid it like a couple weeks ago.

The lip looks cool but what's up with where the hood meets the grill?

repair shop who replaced my grille from an accident ordered the Sedan grille...and i tried to get it replaced with the correct grille but that didnt work out.......so im stuck with the sedan grille....until i can find a stock p5 grille for extra cheap cause i dont have the money to buy one for full price..

looks good but the only thing i dont like is that it doesnt reach all the way around. unless you got a small strip and didnt want to buy a big one? bleh that cutoff just bugs me too much
