Hole for Power Wire Amp Installation?

Hey all, I cant seem to find any holes to run my power wire from my amp to the battery in the car. Does anyone know of anywhere where I could run the wire to the battery from the trunk of a Mazda3 sedan? Thanks.

They are hard to see some times but there are rubber plugs in the firewall that lead into the car.

Remove one, Drill a hole into it for the wire and replace it. That will give you a nice watertight place do run your wire...

i just drilled a hole next to the grommett that is behind the glove box... and used my own grommett to keep it water tight.... wasn't to bad with a hole saw attachment on my cordless and you need to remove the glove box obviously...

Also, how did you all run your wires throughout the car so they were covered? Did you also mount your amp to the back seat? Thanks.

i made an amp rack and removed all those plastic cubbies above the spare tire... i can still get to my spare it will just take a few more minutes then normal is all... and you can run the wire under the plastic cladding and carpet....

not any recent only a few when i was putting it together...

what gauge wire are you using? i managed to fit 8 gauge wire through the same hole that the hood latch goes through.

If you have an automatic, there is a white plastic knockout where the clutch would go through. You can drill through this very easily and run your wires through.

The grommet behind the glove box is effin huge. Pull it out a decent amount and take a razor blade to it. I ran 2gauge wire through it as well as 8 gauge and had room to spare...

You can easily run it along the plastic on the bottom of the doors...OR depending on your amps size....mount it under the seat. I have a kicker kx250.1 and a nine.1 under my seats, and the rear passangers still have enough room for their feet to sit comfy like.

I think you have about 15" in length, ~3" in height, and 12" in width (front to back)

If someone decides to break into your car and see's the sub, logically the amp would be in the trunk as well or mounted to the box, but under the seat its a bit more difficult to get to, little bit of piece of mind.

TSUNAMI, ive always wanted to do something fancy with my amps and sub boxes but I need the cargo space...your setup looks good, id love to pop the hatch and have nicely displayed amps...
