As of now the arena is pretty much in my back yard. I could rollerblade over to it if i wanted to. Its right off Rt 3 AND 17....very easy to get to.
Newark just does not seem very convenient. Traffic is bad enough, with the airport, train station, and everything else.
That and the many good times i have had at Brenden Burn Arena
Don't you mean the Bend and Burn arena? oh those horrible seasons with the nets and devils...

P.S. Justin, what do you think of all the new development that's being planned for the meadowlands area? Do you think it'll make things worse in terms of traffic and pollution or will the added convenience be worth it?

bad day for us bandwagon Ducks fans. Oh well. It was entertaining and I hope this one goes 7. Would love to see Adam Oates and Steve Thomas finally get a cup.

AbbyVonNormal, the development I'm talking about is the big entertainment/mall that they're planning for the swamps between the 2 spurs of the turnpike (somewhere around there). You know the train station they're building along the Eastern Spur? Around there. If it works out maybe they won't need an arena in Newark....

And screw the USA Today article in today's issue where they diss NJ and NJ fans. I've been rooting for the Nets and Devils since day 1!! Where are all the "championship" NY teams? Besides the Yankees (and maybe Mets in '86), the only other major teams to have "NY" in its name that have won championships are the Giants, and they play in NJ. Screw USA Today.

lol when I was watching the game I was like, "I guarantee someone is gonna use my post against me." Fine. So I was wrong. Maybe it's bad luck to say something bad again. How about this: May the best team win.
I hope the Ducks can walk away with the cup this year, it would be nice to have it here in Cali, but damn, can the Ducks at least TRY to show some effort on the road??? Hopefully they can carry the momentum from game 6 with them and come out big...

It's pointless for the Shmucks, I mean Ducks to even show up for game 7 cause they can't win in the swamp.... I may be in AR now but am originally from Lanoka Harbour (Ocean county)..... the Devils are gonna win 3-1 and the cup will be where it belongs....... as for the Nets.... there gonna win also (hopefully) not as confident in the Nets as the Devils but.... the next 3 games are in Jersey and if they don't win all 3 they'll at least take 2, the first 2 I presume.... if only they used Mutumbo more..... the basketball championships will go 7 as well with the........... Nets........... on top!
