nice exhaust. overpriced new, but decent price if you find a used one in good condition. yes, hangar will break. mine broke last week. passed by a muffler shop and got it welded back on.... it'll probably break again. a little loud, but the silencer makes it quiet, but looks dumb with it on. love the look and shine.

i have the HKS, love/loved it, so when i put my turbo on i kept the angle and the muffler and had my 2.5" turbo back welded to it. i have pics if you need some more.

Wrong not 1-2 hp, in the low rpms it produced 3.8hp and at high rpm's it produced like 5.8hp and I'am not bullshitting I have the august issue of turbomagazine it's an old issue but they dyno tested a P5 with the axle back and it made pretty good numbers for only an axle back.
Hum, if its that much, why do I feel like I lost low end torque. If thats really true, how cool!

you will lose low end torque because you have less restrictions in your exhaust.

Could you scan and post that? I'd like to see it.

Hey Matt, Hope you don't mind indulging my ignorance, but I thought freeing up exhaust gives horsepower and torque gains? (scratch)

You will gain HP AND torque, just not very low RPM HP and torque. You gain mid/high RPM HP/torque. Everything is a tradeoff.

no problem. what mike said basically. when i installed minei felt that i had lost some low end power...but as far as my fav shift - the 5-3 shift - i was tossed back a little in my seat :)

Yeah no prob, Damn the size was so big I had to make them smaller so if you can't make out what it says I would save it then go to paint or photoshop and zoom in the text unless someone knows a better way to post it this was the best I could do so it made +3.8 hp and +2.5 tq in the low rpm's and in the high rpm's it made +5.7 and +3.5 not bad. They also said they lost -1.6 hp and - 0.9 tq with the silencer. For those of you who care it' s the august 2002 issue of turbomagazine Vol 18. No. 8.

My bad for scanning them crooked and s*** it was mad annyoning and I rarely scan images.

s*** just as long as it doesn't drag around under the car and get damaged, I'm fine if the hanger does come off. Simple fix by a muffler shop. But lets just not have that ever happen though :-D

No, I love mine. I was kinda upset that a $300+ MUFFLER didn't last a year without any problems. I welded mine myself and added some extra support. No problems since. Heck I even convinced one of my female friend who is not even in to cars to buy one for her car. (naughty)

i too suffered a loss in the low rpm's when i had the exhaust, but for some reason on cold nights it ran even better than stock, but in the heat it felt like crap!
