HKS Combo Deal for MS3 and MS6: $250

anyone tried this? Hows the drivability? I ****** with my P5 to the point of almost extinction....i kinda wanna keep this one reliable.

Its a BOV, recirculating. What in the world could make it mess up driveability? I could certainly understand if it were a turbo kit, but a BOV should be plug and play, IMO.

Its a very nice BOV, too. This is version 2, right? I hope they improved the response time on it. I'm also intrigued by the Forge design. I'm un-familiar with Forge, though.

i have the hks v2 on my protege5. its awesome. we have a few ms3 and ms6 owners around here running this setup and they like it alot.

i actually bought this package from another site... but it's a hell of a deal for all of those things for the price... because separatly, it's a little more expensive.

haven't noticed anything wrong, or any drivability issues since i've installed my BOV either.

as long as one recircs the kit there should be zero issues with performance or drivability

the obvious question remains:

Does it make a noticable difference in performance or any other attribute other then the neat noises it makes? Granted, I like BOV's very much...

Example - On my last turbo car, a 91 Supra, the BOV failed pretty commonly, and leaked boost. The easy fix was to pick up a Volvo/Saab/Porsche Bosch-made BOV rated at 20psi or so, and rig up some hoses to connect it to the stock setup. It was rigged, but it worked flawlessly, and made a noticeable increase in boost, and seat of the pants feel of the car. In the case of the Bosch BOV, it didn't really make many neat noises from the driver's seat, but drivers next to me who commented on the vehicle would ask if it was an HKS or Greddy. When I'd say Bosch, they'd look perplexed for a second, and then go "Cool! I thought they just made spark plugs!)

So, the question remains: Other then the sound, can it do something?

Not very fancy, but Tial make the best and reliable BOV`s in the world.I hope you come up with one.
