if i could have any input at all, please dont go with rx8s. the rx7s are better in every possible way. lighter (like 16lbs) a reasonable size. the rx8s look too big on the proteges and they are heavy. like 22 lbs. i say stick with the rx8s. i remember seeing them on your car and they look so good. plus rx8s are played out
Im hoping for over 200hp.
As for the wheels, ill be using the FDs for SCCA. and the RX8s for daily use. Im kinda tired of the MS6s. I really like them but they are not aggressive enough for me.
I cant get rid of the FDs that easily. The tires alone where $700 (with shipping) So i can justify getting rid of them.

Hey bed. The problem with the SC inlet is the same problem I had. Awesome. Ill go and use that as reference.
Where was your second o2 sensor? I dont know where to put it. (the original location is being blocked by the trans/

That inlet looks narrower then mine, I wondered if this would cause inlet restriction, I was thinking that custome made headers that where directed away from the sc inlet
my ford is obd1, so no second o2, I would try to pull it away from the harness, and place it where you can.

Here it is with the headers, I also upgraded the bolts that hold the sc inlet to hex key, the hex heads were so hard to take off.
got a pin hole in the radiator, the rubber the holds the slim fan disintegrated, causing the bracket to rub up against the rad.
As for the exhaust. Its almost done, i am going to put a resonator in though. lol other than that there is just a few things i gotta do.
Hey bed do you know where i can get the exhaust gaskets that go between the two header pieces? I cant find it anywhere.

lol yea, i bet it doesnt sound to hot...thats because your SC,
if you were turbo, you could run straight pipe and not have to worry about it sounding bad haha

I installed a 24" resonater on mine it was purfect, still is infact

well the stock res has tiny inlet/outlets, but itll def take the raspiness down a notch
i made a bad side exhaust with the stock exhaust pipes/res and it didnt sound half bad at all
