HKPRO5's Supercharger Build Thread

Yup. lol The only thing that is different is that I have the SSQV on. Everything else remains the same. I tried adjusting it but that didnt help.

by any chance do you have your blower motor on? Mine idles like that when I have my heater on in the morning.

This is force induction related. Only because my heater core was removed along with all the other A/C components.

Here is an engine bay pic. (although I dont have the ssqv on...)

You can keep the heater its not in the way. I just took it out because I dont need it here in Hawaii. (sure I might need my AC.....lol but im willing to sacrifice.)

I just deleated my ac and left heat.

Keep the fds and pick those up as spares. I love the fd's.

So I think im going to sell the Mazdaspeed6 rims and pick up a set of 2010 STI rims. =)

I also picked up all the items I need for the installation of the 626 headers, Flex Gas line for the EGR, an extra O2 bung for the wideband, and tomorrow im going to pick up an extra flange to mate with the headers.

So now I have an extra high flow cat. 2.25"-2.5" Probably put that up on craigslist or something.

It has the flange only on the 2.25 side. So you would have to go 2.5 the rest of the way back.

It's the one in post #366 without the extra pipe. After the O2 bungs

eh nvm then. i was gonna start purchasing for my build. it it was 2.25 through i woulda got it for the right price. but today i think im gonna order my ssqv and boost guage.

So far I think i have put down probably no more than $1500. Not sure on the total gain yet. As I was 93hp baseline and 158hp at 4psi. Now I am at 9.5 psi with a few extra supporting mods. Ill be finding out in a few weeks.

yea probably going to do that. Gonna sell the MS6s though. still deciding what I wanna get. stupid wheel bug.

post 394 i got some info there

Headers are in.

Gotta weld in an O2 bung for the wideband, fab a flange if i cant get one at napa, and paint it. Ceramic coating in Hawaii is too damn expensive.
