Hit 200,000 miles!

It's great to see the FS motor in these cars able to hit the 200,000 mile mark with relative ease.

I'm at 96,668 as of today... I figure I'll hit 100K by the end of the year. Nothing but routine maintenance so far.

Just out of curiosity, how long does the stock clutch last?

My clutch has never giving me any problems at all.

yeah I'm at 210K with the original struts - they're a mite oily now though. Oil consumption is maybe 2000/qt. Just did a front wheel bearing.

Just turned 222k on a Silver 02 auto, averaging 29 mpg, orig. motor and trans. only thing done was some suspension (struts and wheel bearings) work cause of the rough roads. just broke the orig. timing belt yesterday and am now replacing it. the only other prob was an AC compressor clutch that went out

that 200000 is a good looking scary OD reading. Im still almsot there.

car developed a vibration yesterday. got to find that one out.

Im getting about 23 MPG. got to figure where that 6 MPG is going.

I'm getting somewhere around 27-28. I do alot of highway driving at/slightly above highway speeds so I don't complain. I've gotten a little more sometimes. Hit 30+ every now and then.

I wanted to do that at 222222 and thought about it, had my camera in the car, out of the case....next thing, I look down and I'm at 222224....sonofa!

I have a similar photo on my camera. I just haven't downloaded it yet. It's an 02. I put probably close to 40,000 a year on. I bought it with about 80k on it. In another month or so I'll be slapping on the winter tires. I love this car pretty much year round. Just wish I didn't have so much rust.

I'm slightly modded. I'm not lowered or anything. Mazdaspeed axle back, gutted cat. CAI. Probably more stuff than that but nothing too extreme.

I'll get there probably before winter. I even had to get 2 new tires. He goes in tomorrow for them. Had one bad sway bar link so I replaced both. I put all new rotors all around too. I had everything apart. I'll have to adjust the rears next weekend so I have an e-brake.

I'm at 224,XXX...

Engine is about done, have to add a quart of oil every week or she ticks.

I burn (has to be burning it, there's no droppings) about a quart every 2 weeks, figuring I about 1500 miles per 2 weeks. No big blue clouds or anything. It's in for tires today. I've debated about rebuilding it or picking up a motor from protege garage with like 60,000 miles.
