Here in Pittsburgh when you are not washing off the salt in the winter you are dodging the orange construction barrels in the summer. Anyrate, I got some highway paint on my right side of the car below the door edge guard all along the bottom of the car in specks on my nice blue paint. I can sort of flick off the specks but there HAS got to better and SAFE way of getting this crap off without damaging the paint/clearcoat. Any suggestions?

Preasure washer not to powerful though. Should work just dont get right up against the paint.

Same thing happened to me, I just used some vineger and washed it off with some water. It worked fine, but then again this was < 30 minutes after it happened.

I had the same thing happen to me at the end of last summer.
the whole rear left side of my car was covered with white speckles...

the pressure washer didnt take the majority of the speckles off...
WD-40 did the trick... just be sure to remove ALL traces of the WD-40 because [SIZE=-1]it can rot small circles into your paint if it sits long enough(5 hours). Just wash and wax and you should be set.

my clearcoat was unharmed and this was about a month after the incident.

Hey, im out here in harrisburg, pa. Had something like it, but it was TAR or black paint all over the rear passenger side of my car. Little tiny specks. Took me over an hour with polishing/stain compound with a microfiber cloth and then buffed it with a buffer after they were out. Pretty much just need time and patience. I would recommend a maquiers stain/oxidation remover.
