need some advice on my system.

I have a McColluch HID Conversion Kit. In the past 1.5 years I have had my passenger side bulb burn out 2 times.

I'm not sure if I have a ballist issue or a bulb issue.

Someone has suggested going with a Phillips bulbs as they are good quality, problem being they are pricey. If it is a ballist issue the bulb won't matter.
Anyone know if I could determine if it's a ballist issue? I can clearly see the bulb is burnt out.

Just looking to see if anyone has any suggestions or input.

if you burnt out two on the same side, most likely the actual ballist is putting too much voltage, etc to the ignitor, causing premature burn out... McCooluchs (sp) have been known for that. See if they will warrenty your system... I've been using the Xtronic system with no problems. I switched to it after hearing some of the stories like yours with the McC-icantspellitsoimnotgoingtotry.

I've had a McColluch HID Conversion Kit H4 Dual bulb for over 2 years and have never blown a bulb, or anything. Never any warranty work. I also have 12,000 Kelvin. And as far as price Normally HIDs are usually a lot more than 200-350. So call your warranty up on it but i've never had a problem.
